You could never tell, now

by His best friend
(florida)

Hi, my names Sarah, and this is His Story (:
Ever since kyle, and i have known each other, we have been best friends, some would say there was more, but him and i were nothing but flat out friends. before i officially met him, i knew something was a little strange, but once we became friends i had assumed it was his lovable personality. everyone loved him, he was always the funny guy, he always told everyone staright up what was what, and i loved him for that. well one day he went to this new doctor, and not even 5 minutes after he walked out the door, he called me and told me what the doctor had thought. he asked kyle if he had Aspergers, kyle didnt even know what it was. well they ran test and they told him they were positive that he had it. he was so devistated, he called me crying, he had to leave where we worked together because someone called him stupid, and he got so offended about it. one day, he came over to my house, and he walked in like he normally does and sat down in the living room, and told me, that this wasnt gonna get him anymore, that he was gonna push past this. i told him he had already been for the past 17 years, for all we knew. i had researched it and found some small groups to help people with aspergers, and kyle asked me about them so i showed them to him. kyle told me he wanted to raise money for them.
he ended up having 3 car washes, a booth in the lunchroom for donations, and he was allowed to talk to some of the classes about it, he ended up raising about $2,000 for it, and divided it up and sent it to the charities, and didnt keep a single dime.
that was 7 years ago, and kyle and i are happily married now, with a 2 year old son, and a baby girl on the way. Kyle still raises money every year for different charities, and he has never let it stop him.
