The Asperger Syndrome and What It Means

helping_handAsperger is a neurological affection that got its name after a Viennese physicist, Hans Asperger. This scientist published in 1944 a paper that described a particular behavioral pattern in young boys, that had a healthy development for intelligence and language, but who showed similar behavior to autism and outstanding deficiencies of social and communicational skills.

People with the Asperger syndrome may have a variety of characteristics, and the defects can vary from mild to severe. These individuals have marked deficiencies in social skills, along with difficulties in the case of change and transition, or they prefer to do the things that they’re used to.
