Clicked is the right concept. That is how it works with us Aspergers. For years I struggled trying to learn the same things my peers did in school, not understanding any of it, and getting by on average grades at the mercy of my teachers, until I was a sophmore in High School. Then it clicked, I took off, and I graduated Cum Laude from college, I couldn't learn enough.
Things we don't seem to get -- clicks for us eventually. Keep up the good work.
