Mum

by W

My son was recently diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome. He is eight.

It was school sports day, I spent a long time preparing him
for it. Help with social matters etc.. etc..

We agreed on cheering children in the races, That I would go in the Mum"s Race, and that I would get my son a medal for the above.

My son cheered classmates on/ came over to see his grandparents/myself for chatetc../generally reacted in a much less anxious manner.

I cheered folks on/chatted with friend/etc...

My son got 1st in the class P3 pick up race. He was so happy/felt so proud. I was so proud too.

Then I got 1st in the Mums race.

It was a very special day for me and my son.

We are putting his medal and badge, along , with other achievements, and, have agreed they will be kept forever.

I am so proud of my son with Aspergers Syndrome.
