My sister is 64 and never actually diagnosed with Aspergers although my extensive reading makes me certain that she does have the syndrome.

She is passionate about animals and has given a wonderful home to many stray cats and dogs. She supports several animal charities and if she hears about or sees an animal in distress will not give up until some help has been found for the animal. She is a vegan and will not entertain any product which might have caused pain or death to an animal including medication (she also has MS) which might have been used in animal testing.

I am very proud of the degree of her compassion.
