Kaleb

Kaleb is a 15 year old who has a big heart. Even though he suffers from asperger and is bi-polar he tries so hard to be liked, do well around the house and at school. Kaleb will be starting a new school in a new state this year. (He is now living with his father and I in KY). I have a 5 year old grandson, Paul. My daughter took them (Kaleb included) to a waterpark recently and instead of Kaleb being off by himself as he seldoms does he stayed right with Paul. When Paul had to go to the bathroom Kaleb took him and stayed outside the door and waited and then held his hand and walked him back to his parents. Asperger children do not like parting with any of their things, but Kaleb has given Paul PS2 games, a video chair and several other items. Kaleb is worried about going to a new school and Paul told him that he would be waiting on the bus for him and that everything would be okay. Kaleb often acts out which is typical for an aspie, but under all the tension there is a kid with a big heart who is trying so hard to fit into this world.
