imaginitive thinking

Our Son stuggled with school but loved Drama! He found himself faced with a challenge within his english class that shook him to the core. He thought about how to do what needed to be done. He had to do a presentation of someone he had been studying..
His notes where a mess, but he had read and engaged with what he understood. He like most aspies had memorized most of the material.
The week of the presentation his anxiety was peaked, he then had an aha moment and worked out the way to do the presentation was to Be the character!
He recieved a resounding positive grade from his teachers and one of the lads from the debate team - commented on his speaking ability saying
" I was not aware you were into public speaking"
I saw this as a strength and was so proud of him using what he had and finding a new way to put it into!
